Construction Accounting Manager: Plantation, Florida

Must have Construction industry or subcontractor accounting experience. This Commercial Construction company has been in business for 20 years. Outstanding reputation. Position Title: Construction Accounting Manager

Location: Plantation, Florida (Broward County - Ft. Lauderdale)

Salary: $115K-$135K + annual bonus

Technical Skill Set Required:

• Construction industry Accounting & Finance experience (current)
• Monthly General Ledger, Multiple Entity Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, AP/AR
• Month End Close, quarter end close, year-end close
• Consolidations from multiple Caribbean subsidiaries
• Balance sheet review
• Treasury functions
• Improve policies & procedures, internal controls
• Financial Statement Preparation
• GAAP Experience
• Advanced Excel User
• Ad-Hoc Reports
• Reports to Executive Management

Job Requirements:

To qualify, candidates must have:

• Minimum of 5 years Accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance. Strong Academic background from a reputable university
• Current Construction industry Accounting experience
• CPA preferred
• Good employment stability (no job hoppers)
• Advanced Excel
