Job Description

As a Concrete Superintendent, you will oversee daily construction activities on-site to ensure work progresses according to schedule and specifications. You will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication, implement and enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, manage project schedules, monitor quality control processes, conduct regular site inspections, supervise subcontractors and labor crews, and resolve on-site issues promptly. Additionally, you will review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure clarity and compliance with project scope.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• supervising large-scale projects
• Solid understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, and construction estimating
• Hands-on experience with construction site operations including safety protocols, quality control, and managing multiple teams
• Familiarity with managing contracts and procurement processes within the construction industry
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated supervising experienced workers in fast-paced environments
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Perform physical tasks as needed and be able to lift 50 lbs
• Valid Driver's License

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
• Experience with testing instruments like ohmmeters for quality assurance

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint James, MN.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
