CNC Machinist (Setup / Production)

$28–$35/hr + Monthly Profit Sharing + Full Benefits

Marshall Manufacturing is hiring a CNC Setup Machinist to join our growing team. If you take pride in precision work, enjoy problem-solving, and want to work in a clean, high-quality environment supporting the medical device industry, this is a strong long-term opportunity.

We specialize in tight-tolerance machining using advanced technologies including Swiss machining, micro-machining, and CNC bending.


What You’ll Do

  • Set up, run, and adjust CNC lathe and milling machines
  • Make program edits and perform offsets to maintain precision
  • Troubleshoot setups and optimize production performance
  • Perform tool changes and basic preventative maintenance
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and microscopes
  • Collect SPC data and maintain process control
  • Ensure parts meet strict quality and tolerance requirements


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience setting up CNC lathes and milling machines (required)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
  • Strong understanding of tight-tolerance machining
  • Experience with precision measurement tools
  • Solid math skills (shop math)
  • Ability to work independently and maintain production standards

Nice to Have:

  • Programming experience (lathe + milling machines)
  • Medical device manufacturing experience
  • Experience training or mentoring others

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
