CNC Machinist (Lathe / Mill / Multi-Axis)

Position Summary
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to support precision machining operations across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet strict specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on machining experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to maintain tight tolerances in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines including lathes, mills, and multi-axis equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
- Produce precision parts that meet quality and tolerance requirements
- Perform routine inspections using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Monitor machine performance and identify tooling or equipment issues
- Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor machine adjustments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company safety policies and quality standards
- Communicate production issues and updates with supervisors and team members
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
- Assist in training new operators when needed
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience (lathe, mill, or multi-axis)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of CNC machining or setup experience
- CNC programming experience (G-code or conversational programming)
- Experience with multi-axis or mill-turn machines
- Experience working with tight tolerances (precision or aerospace components)
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
- Experience working with metals, alloys, or plastics
- CNC certification or technical training
