We are seeking a skilled Computer Network Architect to design, implement, and maintain robust computer and information networks. This role is responsible for developing network solutions that support organizational operations, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across all systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data communication networks, including:
- Local Area Networks (LAN)
- Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- Intranets and extranets
- Perform network modeling, analysis, and capacity planning to optimize performance and reliability
- Develop and implement network architecture strategies aligned with business needs
- Design and integrate network security measures to protect data, systems, and infrastructure
- Monitor and evaluate network performance; recommend improvements and upgrades
- Research, evaluate, and recommend network hardware and software solutions
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless network integration
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide technical guidance
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in network architecture, design, and implementation
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Experience with network modeling and analysis tools
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices
- Ability to evaluate and recommend emerging technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent)
- Experience with cloud networking and hybrid environments
- Familiarity with automation and network management tools
