Akkodis is seeking a CAD Technician for a Contract job with a client in Muscatine, Iowa. Ideally looking for hands-on CAD Technician who can independently handle piping & mechanical design work for a manufacturing plant. And background in the Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive industry would be a big plus.
Job Title: CAD Technician
Location: Muscatine IA 52761 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months contract
Pay Range: $50 - $60/hr. on contract (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Requirements
Strong AutoCAD experience (hands-on drafting + piping layouts
Experience in piping/mechanical design (plant or industrial environment)
Ability to work independently + create construction-ready drawings
REFERRED Requirements
Experience with Leica point cloud / field surveying
Knowledge of industry codes (OSHA, ASME, etc.)
Manufacturing or process plant experience (pumps, heat exchangers, piping systems)
