Job Title: Compounder - 3rd Shift
Job Description
The compounder is responsible for retrieving and accurately measuring ingredients using scales, mixing various ingredients, and identifying and melting solids using hot plates. This role requires identifying ingredients that need dilution, performing the dilution process, and recording raw materials usage. The compounder is also responsible for maintaining quality standards by verifying the weight and contents of raw materials, conducting in-process batch inspections, documenting all process events, and following procedures and policies. The compounder will process liquids, powders, and use homogenizing and spray dry methods of compounding, following standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes and other substances into the equipment.
