Independent Risk Management establishes and maintains Wells Fargo's risk management program and provides oversight, including challenges to and independent assessment of, the frontline's execution of its risk management responsibilities. We manage risk according to the Risk Management Framework and ensure all employees understand their individual accountability for managing risk. Wells Fargo Compliance is part of the company’s Corporate Risk or independent risk management function, providing company-wide leadership, standards, support, and independent oversight to ensure that all business groups abide by applicable laws, rules, regulations and regulatory requirements, while meeting compliance responsibilities and managing compliance risks.
Compliance Conduct Risk is responsible for establishing a set of policies and risk management requirements to enable Wells Fargo to effectively manage current and emerging conduct risks in a manner consistent with the company’s values, ethical principles, and supervisory guidance and expectations; performing independent oversight and credible challenge to the front line’s adherence to those requirements; and providing independent oversight to the management of misconduct allegations, and customer complaints.
We have two exciting Compliance Sr Manager opportunities within Compliance Conduct Risk. One Compliance Sr Manager would be responsible for leading the Wealth Investment Management (WIM) Oversight team. While the other would be would be responsible for leading the Consumer Lending Oversight team. Both would report to the Head of Conduct Risk Oversight (Compliance Senior Director). These leaders will focus on identifying and executing activities to strengthen conduct risk program risk identification, monitoring, escalation, issue management, and risk measurement reporting.
