Compensation Analyst

LHH has partnered with a multi site organization seeking a Compensation Analyst to help finalize and execute their enterprise wide compensation framework that’s already in progress. This is a high-impact, execution focused engagement - ideal for a consultant who thrives on building, implementing, and operationalizing compensation structures.



Responsibilities of this Compensation Analyst include:

  • Lead the design and rollout of a comprehensive enterprise-wide compensation framework
  • Develop a durable and market-aligned internal pay structure
  • Integrate compensation practices into HRIS systems and leadership decision-making processes
  • Drive consistency, governance, and scalability across diverse programs and business units
  • Enhance job architecture, including job families, leveling structures, and standardized salary ranges
  • Incorporate geographic pay variations where applicable
  • Promote internal equity and alignment across functions and teams
  • Oversee a controlled and centrally governed compensation program
  • Configure and translate compensation structures within ADP Workforce Now
  • Establish and implement workflows, controls, and audit mechanisms
  • Design and execute an annual compensation cycle aligned with organizational fiscal planning
  • Identify and remediate compensation discrepancies and legacy pay issues
  • Perform pay equity analyses and implement necessary adjustments
  • Create ongoing monitoring, reporting, and audit processes to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and executive leadership



Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in compensation
  • Proven track record designing and implementing compensation programs
  • Strong expertise in pay equity analysis, market benchmarking, and California wage and pay transparency laws
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now
  • Proficient in leveraging advanced tools, including AI, for large-scale data analysis and modeling
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to scale compensation structures within complex, evolving business environments
