This is an exciting opportunity for an early career professional to build deep expertise in community solar program operations, subscriber management, and utility compliance across a multi state portfolio.
What You Will Do
Community solar programs are complex, relationship driven, and highly regulated at the state and utility level. In this role you will be at the center of it all, responsible for keeping a portfolio of active community solar assets running smoothly from subscriber acquisition through ongoing program compliance.
Day to day responsibilities include:
Supporting registration and program eligibility efforts for pipeline assets as they approach commercial operation
Engaging and managing third party aggregators and subscription managers, including negotiating scopes of work and monitoring performance against acquisition timelines and budgets
Administering active master service agreements and scopes of work across all aggregator relationships
Enrolling new projects in utility billing portals and community solar program platforms
Coordinating monthly allocation reporting and collections data across all active projects
Managing subscriber churn and sourcing replacement subscribers for internally managed assets
Maintaining relationships with utility and regulatory contacts across multiple state programs
Supporting a cross functional team including Accounting, Pricing, Business Development, and O&M on community solar related data and reporting
Contributing to the ongoing development of an internal community solar database
What We Are Looking For
A bachelor's degree with coursework or demonstrated interest in renewable energy, energy policy, or a related field
Prior experience or internship exposure to community solar, utility billing, renewable energy asset management, or energy program administration is a strong plus
Comfort working with contracts, invoices, and compliance documentation
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple simultaneous workstreams
A relationship oriented communicator who can engage effectively with external vendors, utilities, and regulators
Proficiency with data tracking and reporting tools
Why This Role
You will gain direct exposure to one of the fastest growing segments of the U.S. solar market, working across multiple states and utility programs with a team of experienced renewable energy professionals. This is a high visibility role with a clear path to grow within asset management.
