The Community Service Officer position will work approximately 20-29 hours per week depending on candidate availability. This is a temporary position that is not to exceed three years and is intended to provide experience for candidates interested in becoming a Police Officer.
The Community Service Officer is a non-sworn, entry level position in the Police Department performing public safety related tasks which include animal control, code enforcement, crime prevention, parking enforcement, and miscellaneous public service calls. This position is part-time and will involve shift work, including nights, weekends and holiday and is under direct supervision of a Police Sergeant.
This position will remain open until filled, with the first round of application reviews on May 18th.
