Job Overview:

Are you passionate about wellness, community building, and creating experiences that bring people together? We’re looking for a Community Coordinator in Richmond, VA, to design and deliver engaging workplace wellness and community programs that support employee well‑being and foster meaningful connections.

What you'll do:

  • Plan and deliver wellness and engagement programs covering topics such as mental well‑being, movement, nutrition, and mindfulness
  • Host and facilitate workplace community‑focused events such as walking clubs, workshops, health fairs, and appreciation events
  • Promote programs through on‑site and digital communication channels
  • Partner with internal teams, vendors, and on‑site stakeholders to activate inclusive, high‑quality experiences
  • Track program participation and engagement, leveraging insights to drive reach and impact
  • Support use of wellness technology platforms and digital challenges

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health promotion, wellness, hospitality, communications, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in wellness programming, community engagement, hospitality, or event planning
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills; comfortable engaging diverse audiences
  • Organized, adaptable, and energized by fast‑paced, people‑centric environments
  • Passion for wellness and creating welcoming, inclusive experiences

Nice to Have:

  • Fitness, health coaching, or wellness certifications
  • Experience in corporate, multi‑tenant, or hospitality environments
  • Group facilitation or coaching experience

Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs.
