Our client, a premier membership club, is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Communications Manager to lead the club's communications, content strategy, and marketing initiatives. This role partners closely with teams across Membership, Events, Food & Beverage, Wellness, and Hospitality to drive member engagement, elevate the club's brand, and support key business objectives. The ideal candidate is a creative, organized communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can successfully manage projects from concept through execution.
**Please note this is a temp-to-perm, on-site role based in Nob Hill, San Francisco, CA. Pay will be $75-85k/yr.**
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all member-facing communications, including weekly emails, announcements, digital content, and marketing collateral.
- Maintain and update the club website, mobile app, and online events calendar to ensure content is accurate, timely, and engaging.
- Design and produce promotional materials including event flyers, menus, brochures, and other branded marketing assets.
- Oversee the end-to-end production of the club's monthly magazine, including content development, editorial coordination, design, print production, and distribution.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including content creation, copywriting, design coordination, scheduling, and performance reporting.
- Ensure brand consistency across all members and guest touchpoints through compelling messaging and content.
- Attend club events to capture photography and video content for marketing, communications, and social media channels.
- Manage and maintain the club's digital asset library, including photography, video, and branded materials.
- Partner with department leaders to develop communications and marketing strategies that promote programming, events, and club-wide initiatives.
- Maintain and improve communications workflows and processes to support efficient execution.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & PR Committee to develop content strategy and manage social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Support special projects and additional initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
- Experience within private clubs, hospitality, luxury service, lifestyle, or member-focused environments strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional written, verbal, editorial, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time-management capabilities.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and related design and content creation tools.
- Experience with website content management systems, email marketing platforms, and CRM systems such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Jonas, or similar platforms.
- Photography, videography, and content creation experience highly preferred.
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
