Position Summary: Saint Joseph High School, a college-preparatory institution sponsored by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, is seeking a creative and motivated college student with a passion for Marketing, Communications, and Graphic Design to join our Communications and Marketing team as a Communications and Marketing Intern. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to support a mission-driven school community while building real-world experience in digital marketing and brand communications.
Interns will collaborate closely with the Director of Communications and Marketing to strengthen our web presence, grow prospective student engagement, and contribute to Saint Joe’s overall communications and marketing efforts. This internship is eligible for college credit and will be tailored to meet academic program requirements where applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing Saint Joseph High School’s official social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and others) and website (StJoes.org)
- Brainstorm and develop digital content campaigns to promote admissions and advancement efforts
- Design compelling graphics and visual content using platforms such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Monitor engagement and analyze web and social media analytics to assess the performance of posts and campaigns
- Create calls-to-action and interactive posts to drive interest and inquiries from prospective students and families
- Assist in developing content calendars and strategies aligned with Admissions and Advancement goals
- Collaborate with students, staff, and faculty to source content and stories for the digital marketplace
- Support internal branding and communication efforts across platforms

- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and trends
- Creativity and comfort working with visual design tools (Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop)
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

- Self-motivated and professional attitude
Education & Eligibility:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (rising juniors, seniors, or graduate students preferred)
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field
- Internship eligible for college credit (must coordinate with your institution)
