To strengthen our bar team, we are currently seeking a Commis de Bar (m/f/d) for our “The Curtain Club.”
Here’s what your day will look like
- Warmly greeting and seeing off all guests
- Providing service-oriented care for guests
- Taking all orders and offering excellent advice to guests
- Taking into account and fulfilling all guest requests and preferences
- Preparing and serving our aperitifs and cocktails
- Interacting and communicating with guests and building long-term relationships through personalized, individual, and first-class service
- Preparing the daily mise-en-place
- Ensuring a smooth service flow
- Implementing all The Ritz-Carlton standards
- Adhering to hygiene regulations in accordance with HACCP guidelines
What we expect from you
- Completed vocational training in the hotel or restaurant industry
- Relevant professional experience as a bartender/server, ideally in upscale dining
- Solid technical expertise in the preparation of aperitifs and cocktails
- Good written and spoken German and very good written and spoken English
- Confident and professional demeanor and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
- Excellent hospitality skills with a consistently positive demeanor
- Enjoyment of daily guest interaction and a passion for the hospitality industry
- Team player, ability to multitask, and a hands-on mentality
- Enjoyment of creating special moments
