A tier-1 commercial real estate firm is seeking a Real Estate Operations Specialist/Portfolio Manager to join their team. The Real Estate Operations Specialist will support national portfolio operations and partner directly with senior leadership, while playing a key role in technology adoption and training initiatives and working closely with the Property Management and Asset Management teams. Key Responsibilities:


Portfolio Operations & Strategic Support

  • Partner directly with the SVP of Portfolio Management & Operations
  • Drive portfolio-wide operational standards, SOPs, emergency protocols, and best practices
  • Maintain and optimize key operational tech systems
  • Support Property Management teams across a national portfolio
  • Develop training content, operational playbooks, and adoption strategies


Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, Procurement, Marketing, HR, and Property Management teams
  • Champion new technology platforms, workflows, and organizational adoption
  • Coordinate portfolio initiatives that enhance operational performance and consistency


Programs, Events & Portfolio Initiatives

  • Help plan and execute company's annual conference
  • Schedule and manage trainings, meetings, and national operational events


Analytical & Executive Support

  • Prepare executive-level PowerPoint presentations and Excel-based analysis
  • Track timelines, deliverables, and action items across multiple workstreams
  • Design internal surveys and support enterprise-wide communications


Ideal Background:

  • 5+ years in property management, portfolio management, real estate operations, or healthcare operations.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or national portfolio operations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and process improvement skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
  • Yardi experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, or related field
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel ~15%
