Job Title: Commercial Loan Officer

Job Summary:
Elevations Credit Union is seeking a highly experienced Commercial Loan Officer with a strong local presence in Colorado. The ideal candidate must have an existing commercial loan portfolio and established relationships within the Colorado market. This role focuses on business development, loan origination, and portfolio growth within the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Relationship Management:
- Develop and manage a commercial loan portfolio within the Colorado market
- Leverage existing relationships to generate new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with local businesses and referral sources
- Represent the organization within the local business community
Loan Origination & Processing:
- Originate, structure, and close commercial lending deals
- Collect and analyze financial documents and loan applications
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of loans
- Act as the primary point of contact throughout the lending process
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor and manage an active commercial loan portfolio
- Ensure credit quality and risk mitigation
- Identify opportunities for portfolio growth and cross-selling
Compliance & Risk:
- Ensure adherence to all lending regulations and internal policies
- Stay updated on market trends and regulatory requirements
Must-Have Requirements (Strict):
- Must currently reside in Colorado
- Must have an active commercial loan portfolio / book of business in Colorado
- 3–5+ years of experience in commercial/business lending
- Proven success in loan origination and sales
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong local network with business owners and referral partners
- Experience in commercial loan origination (not wealth management)
- Background in banking or credit union environment
Work Environment:
- Hybrid (Minimum 50% onsite required)
- Office-based with local market focus
Compensation:
- Salary: $85,380 – $106,725 + Commission
- Performance-based incentives
