Legal Administrative Assistant – Securities Litigation/ Complex Commercial Litigation

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a highly respected national litigation firm to identify an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys handling complex securities litigation matters. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving legal environment and is comfortable supporting multiple attorneys on sophisticated federal cases.
The Role
In this position, you’ll provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys and legal teams, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and deadlines are consistently met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, revising, formatting, and proofreading documents related to securities and high-stakes litigation
- Managing competing priorities while supporting several attorneys simultaneously
- Preparing and maintaining attorney time entries in accordance with internal timekeeping protocols
- Coordinating complex travel arrangements and handling expense reimbursements and invoice processing
- Scheduling virtual and in-person meetings using platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Organizing conferences and meetings, including room setup and catering coordination
- Maintaining discretion when handling sensitive, confidential, and time-critical information
- Assisting with electronic case file organization in collaboration with Records/File teams
- Providing general administrative and litigation support as needed
Ideal Background
Experience & Education
- At least 3 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant or legal secretary in a litigation-focused firm
- Prior exposure to securities litigation or complex commercial litigation is highly preferred
- High school diploma required; associate’s degree a plus
Litigation & Technical Skills
- Experience preparing Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities
- Working knowledge of Federal District Court rules and filing procedures
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Familiarity with document management systems such as NetDocuments or similar platforms

- Ability to manage workloads for four or more attorneys
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

- High level of professionalism with proven discretion and confidentiality
Nice to Have
- Trial and deposition support experience
- Background in securities fraud, shareholder, or class action litigation
Compensation & Perks
- $70,000–$90,000 salary range, depending on experience
