A premier international law firm with a market-leading insurance practice is seeking a talented litigation attorney to join its Dallas or Houston office.


This firm is widely recognized as one of the top insurance practices in the world, representing major insurers in complex, high-exposure matters across the United States and internationally. The team handles sophisticated disputes involving bad faith, catastrophic bodily injury, property damage, professional liability, casualty and specialty lines, and reinsurance.


The Opportunity:

This role offers hands-on experience in bad faith litigation, with primary responsibilities including court appearances, depositions, hearings, and inspections. You will play a key role defending insurance companies against bad faith claims, with a particular focus on property damage matters. The position is highly litigation-focused and provides the opportunity to take ownership of cases while working within a collaborative, high-performing team.


What You’ll Do:

  • Handle complex commercial litigation and catastrophic bodily injury matters
  • Manage cases from initial workup through dispositive motions, settlement, or trial
  • Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and appear in court
  • Draft and argue motions, and prepare coverage opinions and position statements


What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation, catastrophic injury, or insurance coverage
  • Strong general litigation skills, including court appearances, depositions, and hearings
  • Ability to independently manage cases while collaborating effectively with a team
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to take ownership of work
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Active Texas Bar admission required

Compensation:

The expected compensation range for this position is $175,000 – $195,000++ depending on experience.
