Commercial Lending Attorney

We are seeking an associate with at least two years of experience in commercial lending, finance, corporate and/or real estate transactions to join our dynamic commercial lending transactions group.

The successful candidate will have experience:

• Managing complex commercial lending and real estate transactions
• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial loan documents and general corporate documentation
• Reviewing title work, surveys, and other due diligence related to commercial lending, corporate, and real estate matters
• Assisting with general corporate and commercial matters
• Interacting directly with clients

Candidates should possess a strong academic background and superior drafting and negotiation skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and be willing to take on significant responsibility for deal management, client interaction and work product. Candidates must be diligent, proactive, supportive and team-oriented.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of large law firm transactional experience
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• New Jersey State Bar admission required (within 12 months of hiring)
• New York or Pennsylvania a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with careful attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional client service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
