The Role
This is a field-based role focused on activating accounts, training staff, and driving product recommendation across key on-premise locations in Texas (Austin, Houston, Dallas).
You will not be measured by how many accounts you open, but by how well those accounts perform.
What You’ll Do
- Activate accounts through tastings, bartender trainings, and on-premise engagement
- Build strong relationships with bartenders and key decision-makers
- Drive consistent product recommendation and reorder behavior
- Identify high-impact accounts and focus on depth over breadth
- Support distributor partners to ensure sell-through, not just placements
- Partner with distributor sales teams to support account execution and ensure product sell-through
- Represent Gran Maizal at key industry moments
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in spirits, hospitality, or on-premise sales
- Strong presence and credibility behind the bar
- Ability to guide tastings and communicate a product story
- Existing relationships in Texas on-premise accounts (strong plus)
- Experience working with distributors and navigating three-tier systems is a strong plus
- Self-driven and comfortable operating independently in the field

Compensation
- Base + performance incentives tied to activation and reorder velocity
- Expenses covered (travel, samples, events)
