Clean Harbors in Baltimore, MD, is looking for a Commercial Body Shop Painter. The Commercial Body Shop Painter is responsible for performing routine or specialized work in the repair and refinishing of hazmat containers and various pieces of equipment.

  • Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
  • Use forklift or other industrial powered vehicles to move components into workspace
  • Sandblast equipment and components; taping and other prep work as needed 
  • Mixing of paints as needed 
  • Clean and maintain all painting equipment, guns, compressors, and booths
  • Clean, degrease, and prime component parts and finished products
  • Paint completed products with an automotive finish
  • Maintain a high quality paint standard 
  • Assemble and disassemble components and parts as needed
  • Maintain accurate computer and written documentation and compliance logs
  • Work with parts department for the availability of job-related materials
  • Ensure all aspects of painting and sandblasting areas are in compliance
  • Provide inventory and inspection reports to management as requested 
  • Complete other duties as assigned
