Summary

The SAP Support Internship is an opportunity for students to gain hands‑on experience supporting enterprise Supply Chain Management (SCM), FI (Financial), ACCTG (Accounting) systems and processes while learning IT service management, documentation standards, and data governance best practices. The SAP Support team works closely with business partners, IT analysts, and leadership to support applications such as SAP, Aravo, and other related platforms.

This internship focuses on recurring operational, documentation, and reporting activities that support service quality and leadership visibility. The student intern will work scheduled hours based on department needs, with a minimum requirement of 15 hours and up to 40 hours per week maximum.

What You'll Do
  • Provide operational support for SAP Support activities using ServiceNow and internal documentation tools.
  • Assist with ServiceNow ticket hygiene by identifying missing information, duplicates, and misrouted requests.
  • Prepare basic metrics and reporting to support SAP leadership updates.
  • Gather, organize, and document SAP support processes and reference materials.
  • Support cross‑training efforts by capturing and organizing process notes.
  • Validate ticket references and accuracy in leadership‑facing update materials.
  • Work with SAP Support analysts to improve consistency and quality across documentation and reporting.
Education A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.Experience
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, ticketing systems, or similar workflow tools is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of documentation, reporting, or information management in a business or IT setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and organization.
  • Comfortable working with structured processes and large volumes of information.
  • Ability to follow defined procedures in a controlled environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and web‑based tools.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements and Qualifications College level coursework (100 or higher) from an accredited institution is preferred. Management will evaluate college-level coursework individually to determine if it is applicable to the position and relevant to the required skills. Knowledge such as accounting, general administrative principles, communications, marketing, personnel, finance, training, business and other non-scientific fields.

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
