The primary responsibility of the Cocktail/Beverage Server is to ensure complete customer satisfaction by serving and providing beverages for our guests to ensure an enjoyable stay.
Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
Provides timely cocktail service in a friendly and courteous manner.
Keeps assigned areas clean and empty of glasses and bottles.
Constantly looks for service opportunities.
Responds to and resolves guest complaints.
Answers guest questions and is knowledgeable about property events and attractions.
Performs all side work at assigned station, such as stocking coffee, glasses, sugar, cream and coffee dispenser.
Monitor and manage food cost, labor cost, and other controllable expenses within budget guidelines.
Provides fast (20 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests; carries full trays on every round.
Take drink orders, communicate with bartenders, assist in the preparation of drinks and presents drinks to guests.
Maintains clean and stocked workstation for the next shift.
Handles money according to procedure.
Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
Serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appears in publicity photos.
Promotes casino events and programs.
Works closely with Total Rewards Center to promote new card sign up programs.
Works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, bar backs, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor.
Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
Resolves service problems according to guidelines.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Must be able to work any day of the week and scheduled shift.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Work requires knowledge of tray service and cocktail ingredients.
Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
