Job Title: Co-Packing Analyst

Work Location: Fort Worth, TX

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Contract Duration: Through December (approx. 8 months)

Pay rate: 51.82 USD/Hour


About the Role:

The Co-Packing Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of strategies for U.S. rework product requirements, focusing on efficiencies and optimal costs across the business. This role supports retail-specific packaging initiatives, data analysis, vendor collaboration, and inventory sourcing and management strategies to ensure product availability.

The position acts as a subject matter expert for product packaging requirements, ensuring compliance with customer-specific and industry standards while monitoring performance metrics and driving corrective actions. Responsibilities include supporting supplier sourcing and negotiations in alignment with purchasing guidelines, tracking vendor performance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

This role partners with cross-functional teams to align on project timelines for product launches and modifications, manages forecast and sales variances in collaboration with Demand Planning, and develops work-in-progress forecasts for third-party packagers. Additionally, the role includes maintaining SOPs and work instructions to ensure continuity of operations and supporting other duties as required.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Operations, Logistics, Production Control, Inventory Management, and/or Master Planning/Scheduling
  • Experience supporting packaging requirements and ensuring compliance with customer-specific and industry standards
  • Experience analyzing vendor performance and identifying cost savings or avoidance opportunities
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align project timelines and expectations
  • Experience managing forecasts, sales variances, and inventory risks in partnership with Demand Planning
  • Experience creating work-in-progress forecasts for third-party packagers
  • Experience developing and maintaining SOPs and work instructions
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and reporting tools
  • Experience with MRP systems; Oracle experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical and/or Consumer Packaged Goods environments (strongly preferred)
  • Knowledge of industry standards for packaging and eCommerce requirements
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and production in a pharmaceutical environment, including lot codes, controls, FDA regulations, expiration dates, and primary/secondary packaging
  • Project management skills (preferred)
