Location: Metro Detroit, MI

Shift: Nights | Mon–Thurs | 4:30 PM – 4:00 AM

Pay: $27–$32/hr + Full Benefits

Overview

Growing precision manufacturer seeking a CNC Setup Operator to run vertical machining centers (Haas) producing high-precision components for aerospace, defense, and advanced tech industries. Clean, modern, climate-controlled shop with strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC vertical mills (Haas)
• Load/run programs and perform full setups (tooling, offsets, workholding)
• Machine to tight tolerances and perform in-process inspections
• Track production and maintain efficiency
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with team

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC setup and machining experience
• Strong blueprint reading & GD&T knowledge
• Experience with tooling, prove-outs, and quality checks

Preferred

• Haas experience
• High-precision or regulated (AS9100/ISO) environments
