Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site CNC Set Up Machinist position based in Kilmarnock, VA. The role involves hands-on work in manufacturing operations, including operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring production efficiency, and monitoring quality control processes. The employee will support manufacturing engineering tasks, assist with training initiatives, and work collaboratively with a team to meet production and quality targets. Additional responsibilities include clear daily communication regarding progress and challenges, as well as identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and general Manufacturing processes, but willing to train the right person
• Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with team members, leadership, and other departments
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow complex instructions
• Familiarity with Precision Swiss screw machining or CAD/CAM software is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or experience in a related field are preferred
• Ability to work in a physical, dynamic manufacturing environment
