CNC Operator - 2nd Shift

Position Summary:
  • Experience (6 months min ) operating Emmegi CNC Machining centers- Model T3/ T4/R6 and Diamant
  • Loading Machining programs,
  • Changing and calibrating tooling
  • Ability to read and understand Engineered dimension drawings
  • Able to measure machined components for accuracy and verify against dimensioned drawings.
  • Schedule 3:30pm to 12am. Overtime available until 2:30am and Saturdays.



Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to weld Stainless steel and Aluminum using TIG /MIG equipment.
  • The ability to fabricate fixtures, assemblies and production tools using a variety of fabrication methods.
  • Work with a team to make recommendations for continuous improvement based upon knowledge gathered from tooling problems or failures and implement suggested improvements.
  • Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches or verbal descriptions and plan sequence of operations to produce a tool, gauge or fixture
  • Use trigonometric relationships to locate position and clamp work pieces for precision machining or grinding as part of production of a tool, gauge or fixture.
  • Support manufacturing needs, manufacturing production parts, prototypes and fixtures in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Engineers on prototype designs and projects
  • Work safely within a production and machine shop environment
