This role is a hands-on CNC Operator position on the day shift, responsible for running CNC mills or lathes, loading and unloading heavy parts, monitoring production, and performing basic quality checks. You will set up and operate equipment with minimal supervision, make minor machine adjustments, and help ensure that all parts meet quality and production standards in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
This is a full-time 1st shift role, working approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., currently averaging about 50 hours per week with mandatory overtime that may include Saturdays and Sundays. The facility features newer CNC machines and handles large, heavy parts, so you will work in a production environment that is industrial but described as not excessively loud, with somewhat dim lighting. The building was thoroughly cleaned recently, contributing to a more orderly and comfortable workspace. You will use CNC mills or lathes, hand tools, micrometers, gauges, calipers, and other inspection equipment on a daily basis. The dress code requires oil-resistant shoes or steel-toe footwear, no cutoffs, no loose clothing or hoods, and hats must be worn forward for safety. The schedule includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a paid 20-minute break during the shift.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
