CNC Haas Mill Operator

Full-Time | Multiple Shifts Available | Precision Manufacturing

We’re seeking an experienced CNC Haas Mill Operator to set up, adjust, and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC Haas vertical mills with Fanuc controls. This role supports the production of high‑precision aerospace and medical components, requiring exceptional attention to detail, deep technical skill, and the ability to consistently hold ultra‑tight tolerances.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC Haas vertical mills (3, 4, and 5 axis) using Fanuc controls
  • Produce aerospace and medical components while holding tolerances of ±0.0001
  • Machine stainless steel, aluminum, Inconel, titanium, brass, and other exotic alloys
  • Perform complete machine set‑ups, offsets, and tool changes per blueprint and job layout
  • Read and interpret blueprints and CNC programs to ensure dimensional accuracy
  • Conduct initial quality inspections and verify part dimensions prior to release
  • Calculate, adjust, and optimize feeds and speeds for various metals and alloys
  • Edit CNC programs at the machine using G and M codes to refine processes
  • Machine extremely small, high‑precision parts (as small as a fingernail)
  • Apply proper tooling strategies, including tool pre‑setting and selection
  • Collaborate with teammates in a high‑mix, job‑shop environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and consistently use required PPE

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of CNC mill set‑up experience
  • Proven expertise with CNC Haas mills (3, 4, and 5 axis)
  • Hands‑on experience with Fanuc-controlled machines
  • Ability to reliably hold ±0.0001 tolerances
  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
  • Working knowledge of CNC programs, including G & M codes
  • Experience performing set‑ups and offsets based on specifications
  • Proficiency adjusting feeds and speeds for precision machining
  • Ability to perform first‑article and in‑process inspections
  • Comfortable machining extremely small, intricate parts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Live tooling or advanced multi‑axis machining experience
  • Knowledge of tooling applications for exotic alloys
  • Tool pre‑setting experience and tooling optimization skills
  • Familiarity with aerospace and medical standards (ISO, ASQ)
  • Ability to contribute machine‑side program edits for efficiency and quality

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.

- Climate Controlled and super clean - Guaranteed 3% company contribution to 401k (not a match. For example, if you put in 6% they put 3% and if you put 0% they put 3%)- 1 week PTO right away plus the Minnesota sick pay on top of that - Average tenure is 10+ years- Life Insurance- Health, dental, vision, etc... (their benefits for a single person are very phenomenal)- Sometimes will have a bonus at the end of the year depending on company performance/profits
