CNC Machinist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high‑quality parts that meet engineering specifications and production standards. Candidates with manual machining experience (mills and lathes) are highly preferred and will be given strong consideration.

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic program edits as needed
• Monitor machine operation to ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Perform in‑process inspections and document results
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet output goals

• Previous experience operating CNC machines in a production or job‑shop environment
• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Dependable, safety‑minded, and team‑oriented

• Manual machining experience (manual mills and/or lathes)
• CNC setup experience
• Experience with common CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol, etc.)
• Experience machining metals such as aluminum, steel, or stainless steel

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of SAN DIEGO, CA.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
