JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist who can BOTH program and operate machines, not just load parts.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving machining problems, working with tight tolerances, and producing precision components used in specialized equipment shipped globally.

You will be responsible for programming, setup, and machining of precision components in a low-volume, high-precision environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Program CNC mills and/or lathes (G-code or CAM)
  • Setup jobs independently from prints
  • Select tooling, speeds, and feeds
  • Hold tight tolerances (.001 or better)
  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, indicators
  • Improve machining processes for efficiency
  • Work with engineering on new part development
  • Maintain organized and safe work area
REQUIREMENTS (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE)
  • Minimum 3 years CNC machining experience
  • Ability to program at the machine or CAM software
  • Ability to setup jobs independently
  • Read blueprints confidently
  • Experience holding tight tolerances
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Able to pass drug and alcohol screening
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM
  • Fanuc or Haas controls
  • Prototype machining
  • Tight tolerance parts
  • Tooling design input
  • GD&T knowledge
PAY RANGE

Based on experience:

$26 – $30 per hour

Top performers with programming ability can exceed this range.
