In this role, you’ll be the "go-to" expert, using advanced techniques to produce high-quality parts while mentoring our growing team. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Master the Machine: Independently perform complex machining and programming at the highest level.
- Innovate & Design: Create custom fixtures for production and apply advanced 5th-axis and lathe concepts.
- Be a Mentor: Share your wisdom with less experienced machinists and help them grow.
- Collaborate: Partner with Project Managers on project scope and costs to help us win new business.
- Stay Sharp: Help us research and evaluate new equipment and techniques to keep our shop at the cutting edge.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Technical Expertise: Proficient knowledge of 2D/3D programming, multi-axis machining, and high-tolerance work.
- Tool Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Lathe concepts (live tooling/dual spindle) and CAM software like Fusion 360.
- Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience with Sac EDM or 7+ years of relevant machining experience.
- Education: A High School Diploma is required; a 2-year Machining Degree is a huge plus.
- Soft Skills: Great communication, an eye for detail, and a team-player attitude.
