Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turning/Lathe Set-Up Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up and run CNC machines, utilizing your skills to teach and mentor others.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC Lathes (2-axis and multi-axis) such as Eurotech, Hardinge, Wasino, and Okuma.
  • Work with blueprints, operation sheets, and other work instructions.
  • Set tools, change tools, and edit programs using Fanuc and/or Okuma controls.
  • Use standard gauges and inspection techniques.
  • Ensure quality by employing SPC, inspection documentation, and problem-solving techniques.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of set-up experience on CNC Lathes.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc and/or Okuma controls.
  • Proficiency in using standard gauges and inspection techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with aerospace products and/or close tolerance parts is a plus.
  • Ability to teach and mentor others.
  • Demonstrated progression within machine operation.

This is a Permanent position based out of East Hartford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
