CNC Machinist/Operator

Job Description

CNC machinist and Operators needed for large aerospace machine shop in Anaheim, CA. There are openings on both shifts: 1st shift from 5am-2:30pm and 2nd shift from 3pm-11:30pm, with daily overtime and additional hours on Saturdays. Pay will be based on experience with positions open for entry level machining and high level setup machinists.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Multi Axis CNC mills or lathe machines
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan production and scheduling.
  • Operate and maintain Haas, Mori, and insulator machines with Fanuc controls.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precision in manufacturing.
  • Perform inspection tasks to uphold quality standards.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with CNC operation
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Familiarity with the use of lathes, calipers, and other precision measurement tools.
  • Ability to set up CNC machines for production.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • NTMA training is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience or completion of trade school is ideal.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
