Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction.

Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being.

  • Patient hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral and perineal care, pack rubs).
  • Documentation of baseline date (vital signs, intake and output).
  • Knowledge of mobility and precautions for orthopedic patients.
  • Skin care for immobilized patients.
  • Uses proper techniques and/or equipment to ambulate, lift, move, position, and transport patients.
  • Maintains an environment free of abuse and reports suspected resident abuse to supervisor.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program. , upon hire
  • Successful completion of MECC sub-acute exam to work sub-acute wings., upon hire
  • Six (6) months recent hospital experience as CNA
  • Certified Nursing Assistant: CA, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
