The Nursing Assistant – Associate is the entry point for the Providence Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship Program. The program provides training and support for individuals with no, or very little, direct healthcare experience. The successful applicant is provided an educational program that prepares the Nursing Assistant – Associate for state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Once the Nursing Assistant – Associate is validated on all skills and has completed the education and clinical content of the program, the Nursing Assistant – Associate is advanced to the Nursing Assistant – Journey position. Upon completion of the entire apprenticeship program, and one year in the Nursing Assistant – Journey position, the Nursing Assistant – Journey is advanced to the Nursing Assistant – Senior position.

This learning program is hiring you as a caregiver at Providence where you will be provided compensation for learning & training in preparation for state certification as a CNA. This job will train and prepare you for state certification as a CNA and career path promotion for you to continue to work at Providence after taking the exam.
