CMM Operator (Zeiss) – Contract | Kokomo & Indianapolis, IN

Summary of Responsibilities

Stratosphere Quality is seeking experienced CMM Operators (Zeiss) to support short-term projects in Kokomo, IN and Indianapolis, IN.

This role will focus on operating, programming, and supporting the implementation of a Zeiss Contour CMM machine, while also assisting with knowledge transfer and training of internal team members.

These are 30-day contract opportunities offering competitive pay, full-time hours, and the chance to work on high-impact quality projects.

2 different Locations: Kokomo, IN and Indianapolis, IN

(Candidates will be considered for the closest or most suitable location)

Pay Rate: $50/hour

Schedule: Day Shift

Essential Job Function

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and program Zeiss CMM machines
• Utilize Calypso software for inspection programming
• Set up and execute inspection programs to ensure accurate measurements
• Support implementation and setup of a Zeiss Contour CMM machine (approx. 3 years old)
• Analyze measurement data and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Train and guide team members on proper CMM operation and best practices
• Troubleshoot programming or measurement issues as needed
• Maintain documentation of inspection results and procedures

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating Zeiss CMM equipment
• Strong working knowledge of Calypso software
• Ability to create, modify, and optimize CMM programs
• Experience with CMM setup and machine implementation preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
• Ability to train and support team members in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
