Scope of Project:

Client is seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to implement, configure, manage, and provide guidance on cloud infrastructure in Azure environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure and stable Azure environment, supporting mission-critical systems, leading cloud migration initiatives, implementing disaster recovery strategies, and providing technical guidance to operational teams and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, manage, and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure resources.
• Provide guidance on Azure networking, security policies, and best practices.
• Plan and execute migrations from on-premises environments to Azure.
• Support mission-critical enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Create monitoring dashboards, alerts, and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Workbooks, and Alerts.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and support security initiatives.
• Troubleshoot production application and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with teams supporting .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and other technologies.
• Provide technical guidance to management and leadership teams.

Required/Preferred Skills:

Required:

• Experience implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and providing guidance on resources & infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
• Experience planning and executing migrations from on-premises environments to Azure
• Experience working in mission-critical enterprise environments and implementing backup & DR strategies
• Experience implementing networking and security policies in Azure
• Experience using Azure Monitor for alerting, observability, and dashboards
• Experience with vulnerability remediation & working on security initiatives
