Role Description


This is a full-time hybrid position for a Clinical Therapist based in Lexington Park, MD, in person sessions are required at least two days a week. The Clinical Therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based and trauma-informed techniques. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, maintaining case notes, and providing case management as needed. The therapist should foster a supportive, culturally responsive, and client-centered environment while collaborating with clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. You will also work closely with other clinicians and participate in team meetings to contribute to ongoing professional development and client care.


Qualifications


  • Expertise in Counseling, Social Work, and Mental Health practice
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic practices
  • Active licensure as an LCPC, LGPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or equivalent in Maryland
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Experience with specialized therapeutic techniques such as EMDR, CPT, or TF-CBT is a plus
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • A passion for promoting emotional well-being and fostering meaningful connections with clients is essential.
