We are expanding into Boston to establish a new standard for private nursing care in one of the most clinically sophisticated healthcare markets in the country.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
This is a market leadership role, not a traditional Director of Nursing position.
As the Director of Nursing Operations – Boston, you will be responsible for launching, building, and scaling the Boston market.
You will:
· Establish TrustHouse as a trusted partner to leading institutions such as Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital
· Build and manage a high-performing team of elite nurses
· Drive client acquisition through relationships and reputation
· Oversee clinical care delivery and ensure exceptional patient outcomes
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, with direct visibility into the growth and success of the Boston market. This role carries full responsibility for building a sustainable referral pipeline and driving revenue growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market Development & Growth
· Build and maintain relationships with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and healthcare leaders across Boston’s top hospital systems
· Develop strategic partnerships to generate a consistent pipeline of high-quality client referrals
· Represent TrustHouse in the Boston market with professionalism, credibility, and clinical authority
Client Acquisition & Care Oversight
· Own the full client acquisition process from initial engagement through case start
· Serve as the clinical face of TrustHouse for clients and their families
· Design and oversee personalized care plans for complex cases
· Ensure exceptional client experience and long-term satisfaction
Nurse Recruitment & Team Building
· Recruit, vet, and onboard highly skilled RNs and LPNs
· Build a network of elite nursing professionals aligned with TrustHouse standards
· Partner with internal teams to ensure compliance, credentialing, and readiness
Staffing & Operations
· Oversee staffing and scheduling of all client cases
· Ensure proper nurse-client matching based on clinical needs and personality fit
· Maintain continuity of care and proactively address coverage challenges
· Ensure rapid staffing of new cases, with urgency as a core performance expectation
Clinical Excellence & Quality Assurance
· Establish and uphold best-in-class clinical standards
· Monitor patient outcomes and continuously improve care delivery
· Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal regulations
Financial & Operational Coordination
· Collaborate with central teams on billing, payroll, and financial performance
· Manage case-level profitability and resource allocation
· Contribute to overall market growth strategy and performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
· BSN required; advanced degree preferred
· Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
· 5+ years of hospital experience (ICU or critical care strongly preferred)
· Experience in private duty nursing or high-acuity home care preferred
· Strong existing relationships within Boston’s healthcare ecosystem

Boston is TrustHouse's second expansion market — meaning the person who steps into this role will have a direct hand in shaping what TrustHouse becomes nationally.
COMPENSATION:
· Base salary range: $175,000 – $195,000, commensurate with experience and market relationships
· Performance-based incentive structure tied to new business generation and market growth could generate an additional $25,000 in year 1, bringing total first-year compensation to $200,000-$220,000+.
· Additional milestone-based bonuses aligned with key revenue targets in the Boston market
