Job Title: Clinical Budgets Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Budgets Specialist to manage and negotiate study budgets, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders. This role involves comprehensive management of a portfolio of grants and contracts, from budget oversight to amendments and closeout activities.

Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate study budgets, securing internal stakeholder approvals and CTO or Sponsored Programs approvals.
  • Manage all aspects of a defined portfolio of grants and contracts, including budget management and regular expenditure reviews.
  • Coordinate the creation and submission of progress reports and oversee subrecipient activity.
  • Manage extensions, amendments, and closeout activities.
  • Review and edit all agreements and contractual documents, submit edited versions for signatory review, and track queries or revisions through execution.
  • Oversee the processing of amendments and manage the processing of industry agreements such as CDAs, CTAs, and Services Agreements.
  • Depending on sponsor needs, generate or provide RF templates or receive sponsor templates.

Essential Skills

  • Expertise in clinical research, budgets, and contracts.
  • Proficiency in negotiating contracts and study budgets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of related experience.

Work Environment

This is a work-from-home position, allowing you to work virtually with clinical research staff. Must live in the northeastern area of the United States.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of East Syracuse, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $39.00/hr.
