• Serve as a strategic bridge between referral sources and inpatient operations, fostering strong relationships with physicians and payors to drive patient admission volume.
• Conduct expert clinical assessments and on-site evaluations to ensure appropriate patient selection in collaboration with the medical team.
• Design and deliver impactful educational programs and in-services for healthcare professionals to enhance community awareness and referral quality.
• Act as a dedicated clinical resource for patients and families, providing essential guidance and support throughout the rehabilitation transition.
• Partner in the development of business plans and promotional strategies to elevate the unit’s market presence and operational growth.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• One or more of the following required:
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Drivers License preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
