Job Summary

Manages the design, development, coordination, implementation, and support of systems and processes to meet the integration and interoperability goals of the clinical activities. Ensures success of these initiatives/programs for clinical departments. Responsible for central coordination of clinical quality improvement activities and data management to ensure timely flow of information in order to meet the clinical goals of enhanced patient safety and quality of care.

Essential Functions

  • Plans, organizes, and implements clinical programs and strategies to improve clinical performance and enhance patient safety.

  • Develops project scope, charter, and timelines and monitors project status and deadlines.

  • Collects quality data and tracks progress of performance improvement projects and quality initiatives. Maintains the score card and clinical audits.

  • Manages the online clinical audit program and provides leadership with reports.

  • Manages outbound patient call program to enhance awareness.

  • Creates and distributes newsletters and other electronic communications. Manages SharePoint site and clinical email groups. Supports enhancement of clinical workflows.

  • Assists in development of outreach methods for campaigns. Assists with collection of data and communication of clinical projects / initiatives.

  • Designs, develops and maintains the webpage.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Care Management or similar field of study.

  • Experience - Project management, finance, or practice operations experience in an integrated physician group / group practice experience preferred.
