About the Opportunity

Crescendo Consulting is seeking a highly adaptable, patient-centered Audiologist to provide coverage on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for a clinician who values autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful work without the constraints of a traditional full-time schedule.

This position primarily supports Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability evaluations, along with occasional clinical services. Scheduling is variable and driven by practice needs, making this a great fit for someone seeking supplemental income or a highly flexible professional arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audiologic evaluations for C&P disability exams
• Perform pure-tone, speech, and immittance testing
• Accurately document findings in required reporting systems
• Provide clear, objective, and timely reports
• Maintain compliance with all VA and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program
• Active, unrestricted state licensure
• Experience with C&P exams strongly preferred (but not required)
• Strong diagnostic and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, professional, and highly flexible

Pay

Minimum $100/day up to $700/day

Schedule & Availability

Work is offered on a per-need basis. Candidates should be open to occasional, short-notice scheduling and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility. This role is not intended for those seeking guaranteed hours, but rather those who appreciate control over when and how often they work.
