Our boutique investment advisory firm is looking for a Client Service Associate who will support the registered financial advisors by providing exceptional service to our clients, financial processing, maintenance, and research.


Responsibilities


  • Support the Advisors by providing daily assistance and overseeing daily operations
  • Building relationships with clients through communication, both verbal and written
  • Providing exceptional service by meeting or exceeding clients’ expectations
  • Assisting clients by receiving incoming calls and making phone calls
  • Preparing and processing financial and maintenance requests electronically
  • Knowledgeable in Personal, Retirement, Trust, Partnership, and Estate accounts
  • Work as a facilitator between the clients and Transfer Agencies(i.e. Fidelity, Schwab)
  • Ensure the appropriate policies and procedures are in place
  • Interacting with clients by phone, in person and in writing
  • Analyze documents and data for accuracy, identify problems, and correct errors/discrepancies
  • Help identify potential opportunities for clients
  • Prepare and create personalized financial reports for client meetings
  • Maintain and track clients’ monthly and quarterly distributions and deposits
  • Calculate and ensure clients take their required minimum distributions from their retirement accounts
  • Assist the Advisors and traders with orders for executions
  • Assist in researching and resolving problems for Advisors and clients
  • Quality control to ensure accuracy of financial/non-financial processing
  • Accurately maintain clients’ personal data with Fidelity, Schwab, Wealthbox, Redtail, and Orion
  • Monitor daily transactions to help prevent fraudulent activities
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Back-up support for receptionist/office manager and Client Service Associate Team


Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience working in financial industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skill and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of stocks/bonds/mutual funds/financial markets
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
