Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, insurance and both individual and institutional retirement.

Client Service Consultants must pass the SIE, Series 7, Series 63, complete on-line training, and participate in classroom training in perpetration for acting as a primary liaison between clients and Wells Fargo Bank and/or Wells Fargo Advisors; answering questions and solving problems involving all bank departments; making outbound client calls with or without relationship managers; ensuring proper servicing and maintenance of accounts; adhering to compliance, and ensuring clear, concise documentation while achieving the highest level of quality service. May participate in special projects as needed. This position requires securities licensing.

The Investment Contact Center Private Bank Team is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00am-10:00pm MST. The Investment Resource Consultants hours of operations vary by site.

The Investment Contact Center (ICC) provides service and support for clients of four of WIM’s lines of business: Abbot Downing, Retirement, Wealth Management, and Wells Fargo Advisors (WFA). Our client-facing teams manage millions of customer contacts each year for retail and institutional clients, plan sponsors, and participants via phone, email, and correspondence. We also have team members who work on support teams in business administration, operations, and business strategy and technology. We act as a single, unified, and coordinated channel, with one direction, one voice, and one view, in order to provide exceptional client experiences.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of client service experience, related business experience, or a combination of both

  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced action oriented environment

  • Wealth or investment management experience
  • Client or sales services experience
  • Retail brokerage or operations experience


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Retail banking experience
  • Brokerage industry experience
  • Prior Wealth and Investment Management contact center client service experience


Job Expectations

  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 63 or the ability to obtain within a 90 or 180-day time period contingent upon number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance.
  • Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) must be obtained within 180 days of enrollment date
  • Position Hours: Monday - Friday (as early as 7 am and as late as 6 pm ).
  • For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required
