Client Loans Specialist

Job Summary: The primary function of the Client Loans Specialist is to review loan documents, post new loans, advances, renewals, and JHE payments for all loans serviced on the Jack Henry system. The Client Service Specialist also coordinates the posting of all payments received for the mortgage loans serviced by DMI. The Client Service Specialist will assist the Team Leader with the reconciliation of assigned General Ledger and gathering of information for ongoing audits.

• Responsible for the input of new loans booked in Jack Henry (Private Wealth Management, Corporate & Institutional, Warehouse Lines and Commercial Real Estate loans).
• Pre-funding review of Institutional and TD-secured loan documents.
• Maintain and control of Legal Documents for International loans in a safekeeping cabinet.
• Prepare reconciliations for the General Ledgers affected by the Client Services Department. 
• Responsible for scanning of loan documents and daily work.
• Verify and process payments in the JHE loan system.
• Verify and process payments in the DMI Tellerview system
• Enter all GL entries as daily recap on non-posted items.
• Review and mail to the borrowers’ loan notices produced by the system.
• Review of Insurance and Taxes status for loans booked in Jack Henry on a weekly basis.  
• Coordinating with Relationship Managers / Officers for items needed from Clients.
• Assist in gathering sampling requested by auditors.
• Other duties may be assigned from time to time on a temporary or permanent basis.

Qualifications:          

• Fundamental knowledge of general banking principles, philosophies, and operations. 
• Knowledge of accounting and preparation of reports.
• Working knowledge of laws and regulations impacting international loan operations.
• Basic knowledge in Balance Sheet and Income Statement.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in banking or loan environment that will provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Language Skills: Speak, read and write English and Spanish.
