Description:

In the Intensive Care Unit ICU at Saint Mary’s Hospital, the Clerical Coordinator serves bymanagingadministrativetasks,coordinatingpatientcare,andensuringsmoothcommunicationamonghealthcareproviders on the unit

What will you do:

  • AdministrativeSupport:Handleclericaldutiessuchasansweringphonecalls,managingpatientrecords,andschedulingappointments.Ensurethatallpatientfilesareaccurateandup-to-date.
  • PatientInteraction:Greetpatientsandvisitors,assistwithadmissionsanddischarges,andaddresspatientinquiries,directingthemtotheappropriatehealthcareprofessionalsasneeded.
  • CommunicationCoordination:Serveasacommunicationlinkbetweenpatients,nurses,doctors,andotherdepartments,relayingimportantinformationandensuringthatallpartiesareinformed.
  • InventoryManagement:Monitorandordermedicalsuppliesasneeded,maintaininganorganizedandwell-stockedunit.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School or equivalency certificate is required.
  • Experience: Clerical Coordinator, or Unit Secretary experience in an Acute Inpatient setting is preferred.

Position Highlights and Benefits:

Part-time: 24 hrs. per week, Evening Shift

  • 8-hour shift, 3 pm to 11:30 p
  • Rotating weekends and holidays are required
