Job Title: Production Clean Room Operator
Job Description

This role operates on a semi-automated production line in a clean room environment, inspecting and packaging plastic bowls while accurately documenting production data. You will work with touch screen systems, use basic inspection tools, and perform various assembly and packing tasks across multiple shifts to support consistent, high-quality output.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts coming off the machine to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Document production data, observations, and any issues that occur during the shift.
  • Remove excess plastic material from parts to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Perform various production and packing functions on a semi-automated line according to established procedures.
  • Package plastic bowls and prepare them for shipment.
  • Pack bowls into boxes following order sheets and shipping requirements.
  • Operate a touch screen computer to read error messages and system alerts.
  • Clear faults and stoppages on the line, such as opening doors and removing dislodged plastic bowls, in a safe and timely manner.
  • Use inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers to test bowl wall thickness at regular intervals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with clean room standards.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and production guidelines and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Essential Skills
  • High school diploma or GED completed.
  • Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift.
  • Basic computer and touch screen literacy, including experience with devices such as smartphones, tablets, and Windows-based systems.
  • Ability to work effectively on a semi-automated production line.
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and quality.
  • Willingness to learn and follow detailed procedures and work instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • No previous training or certifications required; on-the-job training is provided.
  • Comfort working in a clean room production environment.
  • Experience with assembly, packing, or production work is helpful but not required.
  • Familiarity with basic inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers is a plus.
  • Ability to work different shifts as needed, including early morning, afternoon, or overnight schedules.
  • Strong reliability and commitment to attendance in a shift-based environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a clean room manufacturing environment focused on producing plastic bowls on semi-automated lines. You will work around production and packing equipment and use touch screen computers to monitor and clear line issues. The role requires standing for 8–10 hours and performing repetitive tasks while maintaining strict cleanliness and quality standards. Shifts are structured and may include early morning, afternoon, or overnight hours, such as 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m., 10:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m. for BMB and Bottling, and 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. for Teg operations. Attire must comply with clean room requirements, which typically include designated garments and protective gear to maintain a controlled, hygienic production environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.75/hr.
